Music Biography

American songwriter, rapper, and actor Eric Washington began making music in 2008. Eric started off performing freestyles for fun in his bedroom and transitioned into creating and developing music for the masses. In 2012, Washington began to establish a name for himself by performing at local venues in his hometown of Bryan, Texas. As a versatile artist, Washington has been known to use his music to address the critical issues affecting society today, while at the same time has been sought after to utilize his charisma and lyrical skills to create more light-hearted releases. 

In 2015, Washington released his first mixtape, Canto I, an embodiment of his lyrical prowess and growth as a young artist who is hungry to show the world what he is made of. Canto I also featured Washington’s first single, So EPiC. In 2016, Washington released Ms. Ebony, a project extremely close to his heart due to its celebration of Black women around the world. That same year, Washington worked with R&B artist and college classmate Cierra Denise Carter to create the duet EP, Desire, a six-track project centered around the concept of young love. Lastly, that same year, Washington released two singles, Cypher and Sky High, both singles featuring artists from Washington’s hometown of Bryan, Texas. In 2017, Washington released the single, Stay Alive, a dynamic blend of poetry, lyrical prowess, and hypnotizing instrumentals.
